December 16–18, 2020 | Virtual Conference
These times are unprecedented, and we organizers of VNC 2020 deliberated extensively on how VNC could serve its community in 2020. After waiting to see if chances for an on-site conference would become better, we finally decided to move to a fully virtual conference to allow all speakers and audience to join independent of any travel restrictions that may still apply later this year. We will run through the usual, high-quality peer-review paper selection process known from previous years and allow the community to exchange their most recent research results, in the virtual realm. As our planning proceeds, we will provide you here the latest updates on the conference format.
All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed. A Best Paper Award will be given to a high-impact paper selected by a committee. Conference content will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.
Congratulations to Takayuki Shimizu (Toyota Motor North America, Inc., USA), Bin Cheng (Toyota Motor North America R&D, USA), Hongsheng Lu (Toyota Motor North America InfoTech Labs, USA), John Kenney (Toyota Motor North America, Inc., USA) received this year's best paper award for their paper titled Comparative Analysis of DSRC and LTE-V2X PC5 Mode 4 with SAE Congestion Control.
VNC 2021 will be held in Ulm, Germany.
